Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Floor Technician to join our team at Compass Group USA. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for maintaining and restoring hard-surface floors, operating industrial floor care equipment, and ensuring a clean and safe environment for our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing
  • Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment
  • Utilize automated equipment for cleaning of large areas of floor surface
  • Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role preferred
  • Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required
  • Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures
  • Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs
