LPN Day and Overnight Shifts Hospital Unit

About the Role:
The Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation (YKHC) is seeking a skilled LPN to join their team in a hospital setting. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in providing quality nursing care to patients, working collaboratively with physicians and other medical staff to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients with respect for patient rights and dignity
- Collaborate with physicians and other medical staff to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Participate in special committees and serve as a professional representative of the physical therapy department and profession
Requirements:
- Graduate of an LPN school for LPN's or LVN's
- Minimum experience: New graduates accepted; one (1) year experience within hospital or long-term care setting preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with members of a different culture who may or may not speak English
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
