Job Title: Senior Systems Administrator

Job Description:

At Alexton Incorporated, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator to join our team.

As a Senior Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the stable operation of our in-house computer software systems and network connections.

This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network software and communication links.

You will analyze and resolve end-user software program and connectivity issues, provide end-user training, and make recommendations on technology direction to align with our business vision.

Additionally, you will be required to provide both local and remote maintenance support to various operational systems deployed at multiple locations.

Your responsibilities will include general maintenance, upgrades, and new installs of servers and applications.

You will apply advanced technical knowledge of application networking, including load balancing applications, and ensure fault tolerance.

Furthermore, you will perform vulnerability management and maintain the security and integrity of our systems.

Requirements:

  • Seven (7) years of progressive experience in the field of Information Processing, with six years of specialized experience in numerous Information Processing disciplines involving a range of hardware/software solutions.
  • Four years of concentrated, hands-on experience in installing, configuring, maintaining, and resolving issues with various software.
  • Security/Certification Requirements: If job duty assignment requires "Privileged" access, must possess the following:
  • Sensitivity Level: IT-I – Critical Sensitive Clearance: Secret IA Level: IAT I 8570.01-M
