Job Summary:

SEGULA Technologies is seeking a skilled Aircraft Structures Repair Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining customer aircraft structures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair structural damage on aircraft components
  • Fabricate and modify structural modifications on aircraft parts
  • Perform minor structural repairs on composite components
  • Assist in conducting hidden damage inspections of aircraft structures
  • Assist with complex structural repairs on or off aircraft
  • Remove and install aircraft components as required
  • Comply with environmental health and safety policies and procedures
  • Participate in 5-S activities
  • Perform work in a safe and timely manner
  • Document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations
  • Operate ground support equipment as required
  • Assist with mechanical and electrical removals and installations as needed
  • Assist with maintenance at off-site locations as needed
  • Assist with towing aircraft as needed

Requirements:

  • Training from a sheet metal aircraft technical school or equivalent schooling
  • At least 4 years of corporate aircraft structural sheet metal repair and modification experience
  • Ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings
  • Effective communication skills in written and verbal form
  • Basic set of hand tools and ability to demonstrate inventory and control of tools
  • Ability to obtain Ground Support Equipment (GSE) qualifications as required
  • Ability to work unscheduled overtime, including non-scheduled work days and holidays
  • Ability to work in seasonal and inclement weather outside
  • Ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA) if applicable
  • A Certification, A&P Certificate, or Repairman Certificate (preferred)
  • Basic PC skills
