Responsibilities include real-time plant operational support, facility and integrated systems troubleshooting, design correction analysis, technician direction, and participation with rocket engine test data and controls systems setups, process verifications, instrumentation and pre-run systems calibrations, data processing and post-test data validity reviews. Additionally, qualified candidates must be knowledgeable of electrical/electronic principles and should have experience with emphasis on the following:
  • LabVIEW data acquisition and controls programming and associated industrial project applications
  • Hands-on development, integration, operation and troubleshooting of instrumentation, controls systems, and controls equipment
  • HMI Graphical Programming
  • Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) - Hardware, Software, and programming
  • Computer networking and industrial communication protocols
  • Pneumatic valves and control hardware, systems, and applications
  • Sensor circuits including but not limited to pressure, temperature, flow, vibration, proximity and force measurement
  • Instrumentation and acquisition hardware specification and procurement
