Job Title: Cook I

Join the Kentucky Department of Parks as a skilled Cook I and be part of a dynamic team that delivers exceptional guest service at the Rowena Landing Restaurant at the Lake Cumberland State Resort Park.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, implement, and manage food product consistency under the direction of the Chef III.
  • Assist in menu development under the direction of the Chef III.
  • Sanitize food service areas and ensure proper food storage.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
