Veterinary Receptionist

BluePearl Referral + Emergency Pet Hospital in Midvale, UT is seeking a compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our Rockstar Client Service team.

We offer a competitive differential for nights and weekends as well as a full-time role available working the late swing shift (5 PM - 3 AM) Tuesday - Friday.

To be successful in this role, you should be warm and friendly, with experience in a veterinary hospital preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and make friendly eye contact with every client upon arrival.
• Offer a friendly smile, strong eye contact, and an approachable demeanor.
• Be a compassionate listener and communicate clearly and calmly with clients.
• Assess clients' needs and determine whether an emergency arrival is a stat versus standard emergency.
• Respond to non-patient calls or visitors and connect them to the appropriate team member.
• Confirm appointments in advance and provide accurate information to clients about preparing their pet for the appointment.
• Offer emotional support and resource materials to grieving clients in a compassionate and discreet manner.
• Serve as a liaison between clients and service agencies during the handling of pet remains.
