Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Criminal Justice Advocate to join our team at the State of Vermont. As a critical member of our Medicaid Fraud Unit, you will play a vital role in protecting vulnerable citizens and upholding the integrity of the Medicaid health care program.

About the Role:
The successful candidate will work closely with investigators and analysts to conduct thorough investigations, build strong cases, and achieve successful outcomes. You will also collaborate with federal, state, county and municipal law enforcement agencies, as well as state partners like the Agency of Human Services. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping us combat Medicaid provider fraud and abuse or neglect of residents in health care facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct investigations and prosecutions in a team setting, alongside investigators and analysts
- Collaborate with federal, state, county and municipal law enforcement agencies, as well as state partners like the Agency of Human Services
- Represent the unit at meetings and committees with state and federal partners

Requirements:
- A member in good standing of the Vermont bar or eligible to obtain admission by waiver
- Minimum two years of legal practice experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience in criminal or healthcare law strongly preferred but not required
