Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team at Nightingale's List. In this role, you will work closely with licensed physical therapists to provide high-quality care to patients across various settings, including clinics, hospitals, and inpatient facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.
  • Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as directed by the supervising therapist.
  • Monitor patient progress and report changes in condition or response to treatment.
  • Participate in discharge planning and contribute to the development of care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and self-care techniques.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • Experience in inpatient or outpatient settings preferred; familiarity with discharge planning is a plus.
  • Knowledge of therapeutic techniques related to orthopedics, pediatrics, geriatrics, and occupational health is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks associated with patient care activities.
