Job Summary:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing medical care and support to individuals in our care. You will work in community group homes in the Beaver County area, providing oversight of medical care for 4-6 individuals per home during your shift. You will also be required to travel between homes as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct nursing care to individuals with developmental and physical disabilities
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor and report any changes in the health status of individuals in our care
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
  • Ensure that physician orders, medications, and treatments are carried out
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited practical/vocational nursing program
  • Current license as an LPN in the Commonwealth of PA
  • One year of experience as an LPN preferred
  • Genuine interest in working with individuals with physical and developmental disabilities
  • A current and valid PA driver's license and reliable transportation may be required
  • CPR/BLS Certified
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Strong patient assessment skills and demonstrated clinical competency
