Job Opportunity: Biometric Screening Specialist

This is a unique opportunity to work as an Independent Contractor with Quest Diagnostics, a leading provider of Worksite Wellness Screenings and health improvement programs. As a Biometric Screening Specialist, you will travel to corporate locations and perform screenings and immunizations for employees.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct biometric screenings, including finger stick blood collection, at client sites.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in training and continuing education programs as necessary.
  • Comply with safety policies and procedures, including the use of protective equipment.
  • Understand and comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma/GED and/or medical license (Nursing license).
  • Formal medical education and current medical certification.
  • Additional medical certification/licensure as required by state or regulatory requirements.

Work Experience:

  • At least 2 years of healthcare experience in a professional setting.
  • Completion of a fingerstick within the last 2 years.
  • Proficient with finger stick blood collection methods and manual blood pressure.
  • At least one year Immunization/IM injections experience.

Work and Physical Conditions:

  • Worksite wellness screenings typically take place in a corporate/conference room setting.
  • Travel is required to screening event locations within a 30-mile radius.
  • Lift light to moderately heavy objects and perform fine dexterity tasks.

Quest Diagnostics provides all necessary protective gear and equipment. This is a part-time, contract position with flexible scheduling and opportunities for professional growth.
