Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As a Physical Therapist, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate patients' physical therapy needs according to organizational and professional guidelines.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect patients' age, situation, and discharge plans.
  • Re-evaluate and revise treatment plans based on patient progress towards stated goals.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care in accordance with facility and practice guidelines.
  • Orient, train, and mentor therapy and health care students to achieve stated performance expectations.
  • Identify and implement performance improvement opportunities to promote best practices.
  • Participate in additional department, organization, or network activities as needed to achieve established objectives.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Licensed (and in good standing) as a physical therapist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Basic skills in math and computer science.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the English language.
  • Appropriate knowledge of physical therapy evaluation and treatment techniques to manage the rehabilitation population.
  • Effective problem-solving skills for physical therapy evaluation, interpretation, treatment planning, and execution.
  • Computer proficiency required, with Microsoft Office applications preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Highly developed communications and interpersonal skills, working with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work independently, be self-directed, and contribute as a member of a team.
  • Anticipates challenges and develops strategies for addressing them.
  • High level of service delivery, with ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing situations.
