Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at ProCare Therapy. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive speech and language services to students in a fully-remote setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct virtual evaluations to diagnose and assess speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in students of all ages.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders, ensuring alignment with academic, social-emotional, and vocational goals.
  • Engage in intervention strategies tailored to each student's unique needs and abilities, focusing on improving communication skills for academic success and social interaction.
  • Utilize and adapt various instructional resources and techniques to enhance student communication abilities, including the use of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems for those with severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes in speech and language development.
  • Participate in school-based team meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students requiring speech-language services.
Requirements
  • Masters or Doctorate Level Degree with ASHA CCC certification.
  • Active Speech Language Pathology Licensure in Texas.
  • 2 Years Previous Experience in School Settings.
  • 2 Years Previous Experience with Teletherapy (preferred).
