About This Role

We seek an experienced and strategic-minded individual to join our product organization as a Hardware Product Manager. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in managing and developing a portfolio of camera and sensor solutions for autonomous security applications.

Responsibilities
  • Camera Portfolio Management: Develop a tailored portfolio of camera solutions for various security applications, including sensor selection, communication interfaces management, and packaging.
  • Sensor and Effector Management: Manage a portfolio of non-camera sensors and effectors, including radar, proximity sensors, motion sensors, speakers, lights, and strobes.
  • Product Roadmap and Prioritization: Define and prioritize product features and requirements based on user needs, business value, and technical feasibility, working closely with engineering teams to balance competing priorities and trade-offs.
  • Execution: Lead cross-functional product development teams through the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and requirements gathering to launch and post-launch monitoring.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as a voice of customers and product evangelist to effectively communicate product plans, updates, and value propositions to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Data-Driven Continuous Delivery: Define and track key product metrics and success criteria, utilizing data and analytics to measure product performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Customer Insights: Gather and analyze customer insights, data, and feedback to drive product enhancements and inform decision-making.
  • Product Strategy: Help shape product vision and strategy aligned with the company's goals, continuously refining and adapting the product roadmap to respond to market trends and competitive dynamics.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of successfully bringing hardware products to market.
  • Demonstrated experience developing camera systems.
  • Experience performing make/buy decisions and managing vendor relationships.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving product development processes using agile methodologies.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex problems, make data-driven decisions, and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience developing embedded electronic products.
