About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Coordinator to join our team at Dow. As an Inventory Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing Maintenance Repair and Operating (MRO) Supplies inventory, requisitioning parts, receiving parts, and performing database management tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the business in articulating the MRO supply strategy
  • Support Material Master Management, Expandable Consumable Material Management Process (ECMMP), Slow Moving and Obsolete Part Management, and Investment Recovery
  • Generate Code requests for inventoried and non-inventoried MRO material
  • Execute Order Recommendation process, analyzing and establishing MRO inventory levels, maintaining MRO inventory records and parameters, and performing technical identification of new and/or existing MRO materials
  • Document Critical Spare Part Definition and parameters for critical spare parts
  • Handle reservations and backorders for MRO inventory items, set up new items for inventory, and execute MRO inventory replenishments
  • Analyze surplus/obsolete materials or equipment and initiate investment recovery process
  • Monitor supplier performances regarding timelines and completeness of deliveries
  • Participate in systems support functions, including changes to programs, functionality, and testing
  • Act as problem solver for technical aspects on MRO materials
  • Work with other warehouse technicians to ensure all necessary processes and procedures are consistently followed for the safe and effective day-to-day operation of the warehouse
Requirements
  • Minimum of a HS diploma or GED is required
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in inventory management is required
  • Good computer skills are required
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills are essential
  • Individual must possess a certain degree of manual dexterity
  • This role works a 4-10 work schedule
  • Valid Driver's License to operate motor vehicle
  • Must possess a TWIC card or be eligible to obtain a TWIC card
