Compassionate Healthcare Professional Wanted for Travel LPN Position

The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a dedicated and adaptable Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team as a Travel LPN. This opportunity allows an LPN to travel locally by working in various GSS locations within a 150-mile radius from their home address, providing care with competitive pay, mileage reimbursement, flexibility, and no contract requirement.
Job SummaryThis position involves delivering high-quality patient care in different healthcare settings while maintaining excellent communication skills to work effectively with the interdisciplinary care team. The successful candidate will possess strong clinical knowledge and a commitment to resident-centered care, ensuring the health, comfort, and safety of residents.
About the Role- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to residents across different settings, adhering to established care plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and support.
- Contribute to resident assessments, administer medications or treatments as ordered, and document interactions and outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records, including resident interactions, medication, behavior, activity, and dietary information.
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Hold a current unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
- Have at least 400 hours of experience as LPN at another facility.
- Possess the ability to perform testing to evaluate data reflective of the resident's status and to provide the care needed.
- Demonstrate the ability to recognize problems, recommend solutions, and respond effectively to assist in an emergent situation.
The Good Samaritan Society offers a competitive salary range of $25.25 - $38.00 per hour, depending on experience. Benefits include:
