Key Responsibilities

  • *Sign-On Bonus: $10,000

As a Radiologic Technologist II, you will:

  • Conduct Diagnostic Radiographic, Cat Scan, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultrasound, or Special Procedures in accordance with departmental protocols.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, effectively addressing their imaging needs.
  • Engage in Performance Improvement and Quality Control activities.
  • Assist in maintaining the Performance Improvement Program.
  • Supervise the radiology area and/or staff in the absence of the Manager or Director.
  • Manage department supplies and promote teamwork and excellent customer service.
  • Schedule for assigned sub-departments and ensure the maintenance of supplies and equipment.
  • Oversee the processing and transmission of images to PACS.
Qualifications

Education and Work Experience:

  • Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as mandated by state regulations.
  • As of July 1, 2017, appropriate national certifications in two modalities are required.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification (AHA).
  • Familiarity with state and federal regulations is essential.
  • One year of experience in Acute Clinical Radiography is preferred.
  • Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT or ABHES.
  • Proficient computer skills are necessary.
