Job Description

Optimags is seeking a SharePoint Specialist to enhance our organizational capabilities through effective SharePoint management. This role is pivotal in providing education and support to various departments while overseeing the design and implementation of intricate SharePoint projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and the IT Division to architect, develop, configure, and sustain SharePoint sites and collections.
  • Lead the development of governance documentation, establish best practices, and maintain comprehensive procedures.
  • Engage with clients on SharePoint initiatives, including requirements gathering, use case analysis, solution design, and project oversight.
  • Provide assistance to users regarding SharePoint sites, including training business administrators and recommending process enhancements.
  • Conduct troubleshooting for SharePoint-related issues, working closely with engineering teams to resolve platform challenges.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Required Experience:

  • Experience as a site collection administrator, including managing content structure and security permissions.
  • Proficient in search configuration and managing document libraries and lists.
  • Familiarity with standard site components and their configurations.
  • Knowledge of master pages and custom design packages is advantageous.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Understanding of document management principles and metadata management.
  • Experience with SharePoint logs and creating workflows using SharePoint Designer.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

This position is expected to be a contract role with potential for extension, and candidates should possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in Microsoft SharePoint administration.
