Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Carlsbad Medical Center. As a Travel Physical Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Provide physical therapy services to patients with a variety of conditions, including acute, SNF/Swing, IRF, and outpatient cases.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Conduct patient evaluations and assessments to identify areas of improvement.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements
  • Current New Mexico license.
  • Ability to work Monday-Friday 8-5pm, with some Saturdays and occasional weekends and on-call shifts.
  • Experience working in a hospital setting, preferably in a physical therapy department.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with MedHost in-patient EMR and ReDoc outpatient EMR.
  • Knowledge of typical procedures performed on units, including acute, SNF/Swing, IRF, and outpatient cases.
  • Ability to work with patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics.
