The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at our skilled nursing facility in Oberlin, Kansas. As a RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary colleagues, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional care to our residents.
Responsibilities- Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, and develop individualized care plans for residents
- Collaborate with residents, families, and healthcare teams to plan, implement, and evaluate care
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring vital signs
- Supervise and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel as needed
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence in patient care
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
