Job Summary
Medline's private fleet of professional drivers, MedTrans, delivers lifesaving medical products to commercial and residential customers across the United States. Our fleet consists of 1,500+ trucks with newer equipment, and we manage a network of over 50 distribution centers nationally, providing 1-day shipping to 95% of the country.

The Driver is responsible for operating a Class A vehicle to transport medical products to our local customers, building positive relationships by ensuring timely, accurate, and safe deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and secure medical products from the Medline Facility into a truck.
  • Safely operate a Class A vehicle between the Medline Facility and multiple customer destinations on a delivery route, adhering to Medline's safety regulations.
  • Unload and deliver medical products at customer facilities, ensuring timely deliveries.
  • Provide in-person support to customers, addressing their questions and needs, and providing documentation upon delivery.
  • Communicate with the dispatching team regarding necessary adjustments to the delivery route or schedule to meet customer needs and maintain safe operations.
  • Maintain a travel and cargo log in accordance with Federal and State regulations and company policy.
  • Perform vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation and sufficient fuel levels.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer driving experience.
  • Class A CDL and a valid license to operate the assigned vehicle.
  • Ability to meet Federal and State requirements for commercial motor vehicle operation.
  • Clean driving record with no serious violations.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $25.25 - $35.25 hourly. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
