Job Description

Indian Rivers Behavioral Health is seeking a highly skilled Therapeutic Mentor to join our team. As a Therapeutic Mentor, you will provide one-on-one interventions to youth and their families, focusing on behavioral health-related conditions that hinder age-appropriate social functioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized support plans to address the unique needs of each youth.
  • Provide coaching and training to youth on age-appropriate behaviors, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Establish and maintain supportive relationships with youth and their families, promoting a sense of respect and empowerment.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for youth.
  • Document progress and outcomes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working with youth and families in a behavioral health setting.
  • Strong understanding of behavioral health principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid Alabama driver's license and reliable transportation.
