We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to fill a 13-week contract in our Pediatric Operating Room. This is an exciting opportunity for you to join our team and make a difference in the lives of our patients.
About the RoleThis position requires a compassionate and detail-oriented individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a Pediatric Operating Room Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care and coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to strict confidentiality and data protection protocols.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices and advancements in pediatric nursing.
- RN licensure in good standing.
- BLS certification.
- At least 1 year of experience in pediatric nursing or related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies (up to 50-100 lbs).
