Job Title: Registered Nurse - Per Diem - Hospice/Palliative Care

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Per Diem team at Atlantic Health System's Simon 3 Hospice/Palliative Care unit. As a Per Diem Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work nights, including every 3rd weekend, and provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to promote evidence-based care and a healing culture for patients and their families.
  • Demonstrate the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity, and Excellence) in every aspect of your job.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required.
  • BSN preferred.
  • NJ RN License required.
  • BLS required.
  • ACLS preferred.
  • 2 years of acute care in-patient experience strongly preferred.
