Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our pediatric department as a Charge Nurse. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct patient care, supervising nursing staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of the unit.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing treatments
- Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including medication administration records and shift reports
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A minimum of two years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a pediatric setting
- An active Louisiana RN license and current CPR certification
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
