Job Title: Clinical Director - Wellness and Social Services

At the Joseph P. Addabbo Family Health Center, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Director to lead our Wellness and Social Services department. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of clinical services, including psychotherapy, substance use services, and other counseling services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate weekly/biweekly individual and group clinical supervision with staff members across programs/sites.
  • Provide leadership and oversight for the management of high-risk patients, through formal and ad hoc case conferences/consultations.
  • Identify and provide training to staff members on topics relevant to the provision of care for JPA patients.
  • Provide psychotherapy to a caseload of patients, maintaining adherence to all program and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with hiring and orientation of new program staff, specifically with regards to the clinical aspects of their roles.
  • Foster strong interdisciplinary relationships with medical providers and other care team members.
  • Conduct supervisee's chart reviews to ensure accurate diagnostics, compliance with documentation requirements, and appropriate treatment planning.

Requirements:

  • LCSW, PsyD, or PhD required.
  • Three (3) years of experience working with marginalized populations.
  • Two (2) years of supervisory experience.
  • Familiarity with Office of Mental Health regulatory requirements preferred.
  • Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as electronic medical records.
  • Knowledge of social services in the NYC area.
  • Demonstrated organizational, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to generate, interpret, and analyze data from multiple sources.
  • Cultural competency and comfort working with LGBTQ populations.
  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
