Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team at Diverse Systems Group LLC. As a key member of our cloud engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure and compliant cloud solutions that meet Deloitte's Cyber Security requirements and compliance controls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cloud Solution Design and Implementation: Ensure that all deployed cloud solutions comply with Deloitte's Cyber Security requirements and compliance controls by leveraging templates, documentation, and reusable resources provided by Deloitte management.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Configure infrastructure through code, utilizing ARM templates for Azure or CloudFormation for AWS.
  • Build and Release Pipelines: Design and implement build and release pipelines for cloud and/or on-premise solutions.
  • Cloud Application Monitoring: Monitor and support Deloitte cloud and on-prem applications using approved industry tools and best practices.
  • Service Request Response: Respond to service requests from the development organization under Deloitte management guidance.
  • On-Call Rotation: Participate in on-call rotations during normal business hours within your time zone.
  • Data Ingestion and Integration: Lead the design and implementation of data ingestion processes using Informatica (IDMC) and Databricks.
  • Data Modeling and Warehousing: Develop and implement data models, data mapping strategies, and data warehouses to ensure seamless data flow.
Requirements
  • Guidewire Cloud CDA Expertise: Strong knowledge and experience in Guidewire Cloud CDA.
  • Databricks and Data Ingestion: Proficiency with Databricks and experience in designing data ingestion workflows.
  • Data Warehousing and Modeling: Experience with data warehousing, data modeling, and data mapping.
  • Cloud Infrastructure Knowledge: General knowledge of traditional network infrastructure, including firewalls and load balancers.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Experience configuring infrastructure as code using ARM templates for Azure or CloudFormation for AWS.
  • Cloud Application Monitoring: Experience monitoring and supporting cloud and on-prem applications.
  • Technical Documentation: Strong technical documentation skills, including workflows and support documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Azure Cloud Infrastructure: Experience with Azure cloud infrastructure.
  • Insurance Industry Expertise: Experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on integrating insurance-related data.
  • Build and Release Pipelines: Strong experience with configuring build and release pipelines for cloud or on-prem environments.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication and collaboration skills to interact with cross-functional teams and guide them through technical challenges.
Additional Skills
  • Service Request Management: Ability to quickly respond to service requests and manage multiple concurrent tasks.
  • Cyber Security Best Practices: Knowledge of cyber security best practices and compliance standards in cloud environments.
  • Project Leadership: Ability to lead projects with a focus on data ingestion, integration, and infrastructure security.
