About the Position
We are seeking an experienced Certified Nurse Midwife to join our prestigious Women's Health Care Center in Hickory, NC. As a member of our team, you will work closely with gynecologic and obstetric patients, assisting with births and providing post-pregnancy care. You will also be responsible for prenatal care, labor, delivery, and postpartum care, as well as providing reproductive care, treatment, and education to female patients.
Highlights of the Opportunity
- We have a team of 8 physicians, 3 midwives, 5 nurse practitioners, and 1 physician assistant working together to provide exceptional patient care.
- We have a solid patient base and reputation built over 50 years of serving women in Catawba County.
- You will have the opportunity to complete about 7-8 deliveries per month.
- You will work 3 days of clinic per week with an average daily patient census of 20-24.
- You will have 1 day of call per week assisting the physician team with deliveries.
- You will have 1 weekend of call per month.
- You will receive excellent mentorship and training from our physicians and midwives.
- You will have the ability to build up your own patient clinic practice within the group.

Requirements and Qualifications
- AMCB Certification as a Certified Nurse-Midwife.
- Graduate of a nurse-midwifery education program accredited by ACNM Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME).
- Master's degree in Nursing (MS/MSN).
- Active and unrestricted state registered nurse (RN) license.
- CPR and NALS Certification.
- Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain.
- One year of full-time experience as a CNM is preferred.
- Labor & Delivery experience preferred.

Earnings Potential
We estimate that the annual salary range for this position is between $120,000 - $150,000 depending on experience. This does not include additional forms of compensation such as bonuses or profit sharing which may be available based on performance and qualifications.
