Job Title: General Manager, US

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned General Manager to lead our US operations and drive business growth. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to meet local market needs, managing a high-performing team, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and implement global strategies tailored to local market needs, including competitive analysis and customer segmentation.
    • Identify and develop new market opportunities for geographic and product expansion.
    • Enhance Epos Now's brand presence in the market by supporting marketing and C-level teams.
    • Ensure compliance with local regulations, including data protection standards.
  • Operational Management:
    • Full P&L responsibility, including budgeting and financial forecasting.
    • Oversee supply chain processes to ensure efficient distribution and customer delivery.
    • Spearhead initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and retention rates.
    • Forge strategic partnerships to drive business growth and customer reach.
    • Foster a positive office culture that aligns with core business values.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing local team.
    • Collaborate with heads of other departments to ensure cohesive strategy execution.
    • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for all operational facets.
    • Handle and effectively mitigate any local crises.
  • Customer Service and Support:
    • Manage the customer service center to reduce repeat contact, improve churn, and ensure faster trading for customers.
    • Ensure high-quality training for customers to facilitate long-term success.
    • Drive customer satisfaction through efficient service and support processes.
    • Implement a robust customer retention strategy to minimize revenue churn.
  • Sales and Marketing Focus:
    • Lead the sales team towards achieving sales targets through training and motivation.
    • Maintain excellent relationships with key clients and address their needs.
    • Launch and manage promotional campaigns effectively.
    • Implement mechanisms for collecting and analyzing customer feedback to inform business strategies.
  • Innovation and Technology:
    • Promote the adoption of Epos Now technology to foster sales and loyalty.
    • Stay abreast of technological advancements to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
    • Conduct competitor research to drive improvements in marketing strategies and product roadmaps.
  • Performance Metrics:
    • Achieve or exceed targets for MMR & ARR growth, LTV/CaC, net adds, payment net adds, and churn percentage.
    • Ensure compliance with KYC process and regulatory requirements.
    • Maintain high customer satisfaction and NPS scores.
    Qualifications:
    • Proven experience in a strategic leadership role within a similar industry.
    • Strong understanding of local market dynamics and regulatory requirements.
    • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills.
    • Excellent financial acumen with P&L management experience.
    • Strong customer service orientation and experience in managing customer support functions.
