At Virginia Hospital Center, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Clinical Therapist to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a licensed therapist to provide counseling services to patients individually and/or in a group setting. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field, and at least two years of behavioral health experience. The successful candidate will be licensed in Virginia and have a thorough knowledge of clinical counseling principles, methods, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide counseling services to patients individually and/or in a group setting
  • Assess and analyze emotional conditions, explore possible solutions, and develop treatment plans
  • Engage in diagnosis and treatment of mental and emotional disorders within the scope of laws and regulations
  • Provide training supervision for students and registered counselor trainees
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field
  • At least two years of behavioral health experience
  • Licensed in Virginia
  • Thorough knowledge of clinical counseling principles, methods, and procedures
Working Conditions:

The Licensed Clinical Therapist will work in a well-lighted and ventilated office/clinical setting, subject to frequent interruptions. The position may require long hours, changing shifts, and working beyond normal working hours when requested. The employee will be exposed to routine occupational exposure to infectious diseases, blood-borne pathogens, bodily fluids, hazardous chemicals, noxious odors, latex, and/or musculoskeletal injuries.
