As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing equipment repair, maintenance, and fabrication tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform equipment repair and maintenance using a wide range of hand and power tools.
  • Use cutting torches and welding equipment to repair and fabricate parts.
  • Inspect and report on the condition of machinery to identify items needing repair or service.
  • Rebuild or fabricate parts as needed to maintain equipment functionality.
  • Perform workplace examinations to minimize safety hazards and identify mechanical issues.
  • Ensure the general cleanliness of assigned equipment, including welders and work trucks.
  • Must be qualified to work in a safety-sensitive environment.
  • Actively promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognition.
  • Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures, and applicable government regulations.
  • Maintain strong communications with other plant employees and operators.
  • Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance.
  • Positive, team-based attitude.
  • The ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders, and catwalks up to feet as required.
  • The ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy).
  • Valid AZ Driver's License and Clean MVR. Must be insurable to drive company vehicle.
  • Ability to clearly communicate both verbally and in writing.

Working Conditions and Physical Environment:

While most equipment has air conditioning, there will be times when other responsibilities may require periods of work in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, wet, dry, and dusty.
