Meat Craftsman

We are seeking a skilled Meat Craftsman to join our team at Giant Eagle in Pittsburgh, PA. As a key member of our Meat Team, you will be responsible for cutting and preparing high-quality meat products for sale, ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

• Cut and prepare meat products to meet customer standards
• Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and filling special orders
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety guidelines
• Assist with special orders, ensuring timely preparation and delivery
• Support product knowledge and inspire customers through passion for food

• 6-12 months of experience in meat cutting or completion of the Giant Eagle Apprenticeship program
• Prior meat cutting experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Meat cutting certification required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
