Adult Psychiatrist Opportunity

We are seeking an Adult Psychiatrist to join our employed group practice in Cattaraugus County, NY.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide inpatient and consultation-liaison psychiatric services, general adult outpatient psychiatric services, and assist with the supervision of ER evaluations.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients and administer tests or request testing/lab work
  • Analyze patient data and results, diagnose patient with correct psychological, emotional, or behavioral disorder
  • Prescribe medications and monitor patient intake and modify when needed
  • Document patient records and progress, including symptoms, medications, and treatments
  • Provide patient with emotional tools and methods for recovery
  • Educate patient, patient's family, significant others, and relevant parties of patient's progress, treatment, and future goals
