Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse or Paramedic

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse or Paramedic to join our team as a Worksite Health Nurse in an occupational health clinic setting in Kansas City, MO.

About the Role:

As a Worksite Health Nurse, you will provide excellent primary clinical care in an occupational and urgent care health clinic. You will also provide supervision and oversight for the Medcor clinic, including the allied healthcare staff. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Participating in daily operations at Medcor's on-site clinic
  • Providing superior customer service to Medcor's clients and employees
  • Assessment and treatment of workplace injuries and illnesses according to Medcor's Evidence-Based Medicine protocols
  • Building and maintaining internal team relationships
  • Supporting onsite employee health and wellness efforts
  • Pre-employment and post-offer screenings
  • Documentation of care using state-of-the-art EMR and other tools
  • Physical Assessment Testing (PATs)
  • Case Management
  • Medical charting
  • OSHA record keeping
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Valid licensure for the position in which you are applying
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Strong computer and other technology skills, including familiarity with EMR software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A positive and outgoing personality
  • Ability to lift a 50lb emergency response bag
  • Passion for providing excellent patient care
