Substitute Teacher Opportunity at Guidepost Montessori

We are seeking a qualified Substitute Teacher to support our mixed-age Montessori classrooms. As a Substitute Teacher, you will provide coverage for full-time teachers who are out sick or on vacation. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door at Guidepost Montessori and potentially transition into a full-time Assistant Teacher role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality instruction and support to students in a mixed-age Montessori classroom
  • Implement lesson plans and activities developed by the classroom teacher
  • Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
Requirements:
  • Negative TB test within the last 12 months
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Valid state background check
  • Warm and friendly demeanor
  • Preferred: ECE units or recent teaching experience with children 0-6
