We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at Palette Hotels. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our guest rooms.
Key Responsibilities- Obtain room assignments from your supervisor at the beginning of your shift and ensure your cart is correctly stocked.
- Follow a set pattern of steps for daily cleaning of occupied and check-out rooms to ensure nothing is missed.
- Check rooms for damages, furniture, and equipment, and report any issues to your supervisor immediately.
- Return any items found in guest rooms, the lobby, corridors, or in the back of the house to the Lost and Found with the date, location, and your name.
- Provide excellent customer service, respond to guest questions, and offer assistance and directions as requested.
- Report any suspicious persons or activities, hazardous conditions, or other safety concerns to the Safety/Security Department.
- Perform other duties as requested by your supervisor.
- Service orientation and knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to convey information and ideas.
- Ability to read and understand directions on cleaning chemicals and use them safely and efficiently.
- Weekend evening and holiday availability is a must.
