Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize the Nursing Process to deliver professional nursing care to patients, adhering to medical plans, critical pathways, and established policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate and delegate care with other professionals and ancillary personnel, ensuring seamless patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, providing clear and concise information.
  • Serve as a resource person for nursing personnel, resolving work-related issues and providing guidance and support.
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested by Department Director, Manager, or Lead/Charge Nurse.
Requirements
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or equivalent.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Complete initial competencies, including CPI, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC, NIMS 100, 200, 700, and NIH Stroke certification, within 12 months of hire.
  • Complete arrhythmia course within 30 days of hire.
