As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Care Center, you will provide high-quality patient care while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. Your expertise in the Nursing Process will enable you to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize the Nursing Process to deliver professional nursing care to patients, adhering to medical plans, critical pathways, and established policies and procedures.
- Coordinate and delegate care with other professionals and ancillary personnel, ensuring seamless patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, providing clear and concise information.
- Serve as a resource person for nursing personnel, resolving work-related issues and providing guidance and support.
- Perform other job-related duties as requested by Department Director, Manager, or Lead/Charge Nurse.
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or equivalent.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Complete initial competencies, including CPI, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC, NIMS 100, 200, 700, and NIH Stroke certification, within 12 months of hire.
- Complete arrhythmia course within 30 days of hire.
