Certification Requirements
  • Essential Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, CHEMO, TNCC, EFM, NIH Stroke Certification, among others, as dictated by unit specifics.
  • Licensing Verification: State License and national certifications must be validated within 30 days of commencement.
Position Overview
  • Work Environment: This role is situated within a hospital-based acute care therapy department.
  • Experience Requirements: A minimum of 2 years of Level 1 Acute care experience or experience in an Academic Hospital setting is required.
  • Preferred Skills: BLS and Epic experience are advantageous.
  • Licensing: A valid KY License for Physical Therapy is mandatory.
  • Flexibility: The resource may be required to provide services at alternate locations as needed.
Job Specifications
  • Experience: At least 2 years of Level 1 Acute care experience or equivalent Academic Hospital experience.
  • Licensing: KY License for Physical Therapy is essential.
Additional Information
  • Certification Standards: Only AHA certifications are accepted.
  • Unit-Specific Certifications: Various certifications may be required for specific units such as PACU, ER, PICU, and Oncology.
  • Examinations: Pass/Fail assessments are necessary for certain certifications.
  • Competency Renewal: Annual renewal of specific competencies and health documentation is required.
  • Health Compliance: Adherence to specific facility requirements regarding vaccination status is mandatory.
