**About the Opportunity**

We are seeking an exceptional Medical Director for our Internal Medicine Residency Program in Southern California/Orange County. As a leader in medical education, you will be responsible for the overall administration, curriculum development, and recruitment of top talent for our IM Residency Program.

**Responsibilities**

  • Clinical Teaching and Supervision of Residents: Provide guidance and mentorship to residents in clinical settings.
  • Core Program Clinical Teaching: Develop and deliver high-quality educational content to residents.
  • General Administration: Oversee daily operations, budgeting, and staff management.
  • GME Committees/Meetings: Participate in key committees and meetings to drive program growth.
  • GME Lecturing/Teaching Conferences: Deliver lectures and lead conferences to enhance resident knowledge.
  • GME Recruiting/Interviewing: Lead the recruitment process to attract top candidates.
  • GME Research/Scholarly Activity: Foster a culture of research and academic excellence.
  • Resident Evaluation/Monitoring: Assess resident performance and provide feedback.
  • Program Evaluation: Analyze program metrics to drive improvement.

**What We Offer**

We offer a competitive salary range of $350,000 - $450,000 per year, based on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.

**Requirements**

  • Board certification in Internal Medicine or related field.
  • Completion of a residency program or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record in medical education leadership.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
