Job Summary:

Provision People is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. This role requires a strong commitment to patient well-being, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of nursing principles and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding, to ensure patients receive comprehensive care.
  • Monitor vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration, to identify any potential health concerns.
  • Administer medications as prescribed by the physician to maintain patient health and safety.
  • Collect specimens, such as blood and urine samples, for laboratory testing and analysis.
  • Perform basic nursing procedures, such as wound care and catheterization, to promote patient healing and comfort.
  • Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record to ensure continuity of care.
  • Maintain patient charts and records to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Report any changes in patient condition to the registered nurse to ensure timely interventions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in team meetings and in-service training to stay current on best practices and industry developments.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited LPN/LVN program to ensure a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices.
  • Current LPN/LVN license in good standing to demonstrate professional competence and commitment to patient care.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting to demonstrate a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
