Certified Healthcare Professional

South River Healthcare Center is currently seeking a highly skilled Certified Medication Assistant (CMA) to join our team. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year.
The CMA will be responsible for providing routine medication administration and personal care to residents, ensuring the highest degree of quality resident care at all times. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and administer medication according to physician's orders and state/federal regulations
- Display knowledge of side effects, interactions, and nursing implications of common medications
- Account for controlled drugs each shift and report any discrepancies immediately
Requirements:
- High school graduate or GED equivalent
- Graduate of an approved Nurse Aide Training Program or eligible to enter such a program
- Understanding of medication administration procedures and successful completion of a state-approved training course
