Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced Transportation Construction Inspection Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the inspection and testing of transportation infrastructure projects, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of inspectors and technicians to conduct site inspections and testing of transportation infrastructure projects.
- Develop and implement inspection and testing plans to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Conduct site inspections and testing to identify potential issues and defects, and develop corrective action plans to address them.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to complete projects successfully.
- 5+ years of experience in transportation construction inspection and testing, with a minimum of 4 years in a supervisory role.
- PENNDOT Certification in Asphalt and Concrete is a must.
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is preferred.
- NICET certification is highly desirable.
