Social Worker

EL PROYECTO DEL BARRIO INC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in Azusa, CA.

This full-time position involves providing one-to-one therapeutic services to patients identified as needing substance abuse and mental health treatment. The LCSW will develop treatment plans in coordination with the patient's care team, connect patients with internal and external resources, and assess patient progress.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions
• Conduct diagnostic assessments and develop treatment plans
• Connect patients with internal and external resources and programs
• Assess patient progress and report needed changes to the treatment team
• Perform parenting assessments and evaluate a parent's ability to provide a safe and stable environment for their child(ren)

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication skills, a thorough understanding of parenting and child development issues, a serious work ethic, and a desire to work in a team-oriented environment. You should also possess the ability to work independently, establish priorities, and meet deadlines. Experience working with culturally and racially diverse populations in lower socio-economic conditions is essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensure in the State of California
• 2-3 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in substance abuse and mental health
• Demonstrated knowledge of Screening, Brief Intervention, Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) assessment

Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,244.00 - $100,304.00 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits that include a dependable automobile allowance, fully insured vehicle, and a valid California driver's license. We also require a drug test, criminal background clearance, COVID-19 vaccination and booster, MMR, TDAP, and Hepatitis B vaccines, and recent TB test. BLS/CPR certification is required.
