Position Overview for Packaging Operator:
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 1st shift, 7 AM to 3:30 PM
  • Employment Type: Temp to Hire
  • Compensation: $24 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and oversee packaging machinery to ensure the precise and efficient packaging of pharmaceutical goods in line with established quality and quantity benchmarks.
  • Modify machine settings to guarantee proper packaging and compliance with production specifications.
  • Carry out routine maintenance and sanitation of packaging equipment to maintain peak performance.
  • Perform in-process inspections to verify that packaged items meet quality criteria for seal integrity, labeling, and overall presentation.
  • Accurately document all production and quality assurance activities in a timely manner.
  • Consistently adhere to GMP and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Maintain thorough records of production batches, including machine configurations, production counts, and any deviations from standard practices.
  • Promptly report any discrepancies or non-conformities to the supervisor.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a packaging operator in the pharmaceutical industry is mandatory.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of GMP regulations and SOPs within a pharmaceutical manufacturing context for at least 3 years.
  • Mechanical aptitude, keen attention to detail, and the capability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal, to facilitate clear and effective communication.
