Job Summary

The Data Governance Foundation Lead Analyst is a critical role that requires a dynamic and flexible individual to contribute to the directional strategy and assist in the creation and modification of Enterprise Data Governance Strategy, Data Risk and Control Framework, and Data Risk Taxonomy. This role involves partnering with multiple teams to implement relevant Data Governance policies and frameworks, providing expertise on Data Governance and Data Risk Controls, and overseeing data-related issues and metrics reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with multiple teams to implement Data Governance policies and frameworks
  • Provide expertise on Data Governance and Data Risk Controls, including design, effectiveness, and performance monitoring
  • Oversight and analysis of data-related issues, tracking of ownership and target dates, and associated metrics and reporting
  • Support and coordinate with business lines and global functions on enterprise Data Governance strategy roll out, including new Data Risk Taxonomy and associated changes to key risk indicators and control framework
  • Gather and synthesize metrics on existing Data Governance and Data Risk Controls principles, policies, practices, and standards
  • Produce recommendations for enterprise-wide guiding principles, policies, processes, and practices
  • Determine requirements for and prioritize development of new enterprise-wide principles, policies, processes, and practices as needed
  • Develop and manage approach for measuring adoption of principles, policies, processes, and practices
Qualifications
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience in Data Governance, Data Management, Process Engineering, or related area
  • Advanced understanding of Project Management methodologies and tools
  • Requires basic commercial awareness
  • Ability to monitor tight deadlines or unexpected requirement changes, with the ability to anticipate and balance needs of multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to communicate effectively to develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences
Education
  • Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
