Job Summary

The School of Public Service at DePaul University is seeking part-time faculty to teach courses in subject areas such as public policy, international development and public service, public administration, nonprofit management, and government finance.

Responsibilities
  • Teach courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels
  • Develop and implement curriculum in subject areas relevant to the School of Public Service academic programs
  • Work with students in a diverse learning environment
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to achieve academic goals
Requirements
  • For teaching at the graduate level:
    • Ph.D./J.D./D.P.A. degree, or Masters degree and substantial professional experience in fields relevant to the School of Public Service academic programs
  • For teaching at the undergraduate level:
    • MA in Public Policy or related field
    • MA and relevant work experience greater than two years
  • Demonstrated experience in working and teaching in a diverse learning environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience teaching in a higher education setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
