At Hummingbirds Innovations, we are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our cloud-based systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Security Risk Management: Develop and implement comprehensive security risk management strategies to identify and mitigate potential threats to our cloud-based systems.
  • Security Documentation: Create and maintain thorough security documentation, including System Security Plans (SSPs), Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&Ms), and other artifacts to support the Body of Evidence (BOE).
  • Security Testing and Auditing: Design and implement security testing and auditing procedures to verify the security posture of our cloud-based systems.
  • Security Configuration and Support: Configure and support various AWS services to protect the security posture of our systems.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills: Demonstrated strong technical skills and analytic abilities, as well as experience performing system security analysis and risk management.
  • Cloud Security Experience: Demonstrated experience with security in the Amazon Web Services environment.
  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrated experience performing complex technical tasks in pursuit of overall goals with minimal direction.
  • Security Testing and Analysis: Demonstrated experience in translating an understanding of systems and applications into security test plans and perform hands-on security testing.
  • Risk Management Methodologies: Demonstrated knowledge of risk management methodologies.
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrated experience communicating vulnerability results and risk posture to senior executives.
  • Information Security Knowledge: Possesses a broad knowledge of Information Security policies and guidance, as well as the ability to assist in researching, evaluating, and developing relevant security policies and guidance.
