Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Polysomnographer to join our team at Cambridge Health Alliance. As a Polysomnographer, you will be responsible for providing and overseeing all aspects of care related to performing and scoring sleep studies and EEGs, under medical direction in a timely, efficient, safe, and personable manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer diagnostic modalities, including set up and initiation of in-lab diagnostic sleep studies, CPAP titrations, bi-level titrations, MSLT studies, and home sleep testing.
  • Provide education to patients and families regarding sleep diagnosis and treatment of related disorders and sleep hygiene.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery and patient satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest sleep technology and research to provide high-quality care.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of an accredited Sleep Technology educational program leading to a certificate or associate degree.
  • One of the following credentials is required: Registered Sleep Technologist (RST), Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT), or Sleep Disorders Specialist (SDS) credential.
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certification.
  • One year of polysomnography experience with pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients preferred.
