MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Long Term Acute Care for a travel nursing job in a top healthcare facility.

As a travel nurse RN Long Term Acute Care, you will be responsible for caring for patients who require extended medical care. You will provide care for 5-6 patients, adjust and perform in a fast-paced environment, and keep up with many admissions and discharges.

You will be responsible for monitoring and administering medications, educating patients and family on surgical processes, and monitoring and adjusting specialized equipment used on patients. You will also interpret and understand telemetry readings, notifying appropriate medical team members of any irregularities.

You will work with patients with pulmonary HTN, respiratory failure, COPD, CHF, and A-Fib, and use computer equipment to monitor cardiac and other vital information. You will start IV's, draw blood, and see the patient from start to finish.
