We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Blake Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.
Responsibilities- Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, pelvic, and transvaginal sonograms, as well as small parts scanning and ultrasound-guided biopsies.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Develop and maintain a strong knowledge base in cross-sectional anatomy and vasculature, as well as proficiency in scanning techniques and procedures.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques.
- Graduate from an accredited ultrasound program.
- RDMS in Abdomen/OB-GYN or RVT certification.
- Minimum 1-3 years' experience in general, breast, and vascular ultrasound.
- CPR or BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
